SPCA Auckland invites all members to a Special General Meeting

Notice is given to all members of The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Auckland Incorporated (known as “SPCA Auckland”) that a Special General Meeting is to be held:

on Thursday, 22nd June 2017 at SPCA Auckland Auditorium- 50 Westney Road, Mangere 2022 commencing at 2.30pm.
The purpose of this Special General Meeting is to discuss and to make a decision on:

(a) whether to pass a resolution of intent to join the One SPCA entity and;
(b) if (a) is supported, to authorise the Board to sign the necessary documents and undertake the steps required to give effect to such decisions.


IMPORTANT NOTE:

The SGM of SPCA Auckland notified in this Notice of SGM, will only proceed, if the Constitution, Transition Regulations and Revised Branch Rules for the proposed One SPCA, are adopted at the RNZSPCA AGM to be held on 17 June 2017. If they are not, this Notice will be deemed to have been withdrawn. The reason this Notice being given in advance of the RNZSPCA AGM, is so the members of SPCA Auckland can meet as soon as possible after that AGM.

This Special General Meeting is convened by the Board of SPCA Auckland pursuant to rules 18 (a) and (b).
