I've had a rough start to life and was trying to make it on my own, living on the streets, for over a year. It was a shock when I first came to SPCA Auckland but the canine staff were very patient with me. Once we broke the ice, they convinced me that people meant good things and I've come out of my shell and now love the attention I get.
I'm a very sweet natured boy with the inclination to become a couch potato.
I am very loyal and affectionate with people I know, and will probably become your shadow. After discovering how great it is to have "a person", I will find it hard to cope with being left alone for long periods.
I’m kind of shy and will need someone with patience to help me learn to be more outgoing. I haven't been exposed to a normal household, and if you have a noisy, active family. I probably won’t feel very safe there. I would really like a quiet, stable forever home.
